Saturdays are Play Days

Sixty-five degrees, bright sunshine, a park, loads of game ideas, and 15 rowdy kids equals an awesome saturday morning.

My church's children's ministry had a Field Day this morning for kids and their families and the (single) young adults. It's so easy for families to do community with other families and young adults with other young adults, so this was a great idea that brought both groups together
to do community with each other. And since I still don't know many people in the church, it was a great opportunity for me to meet them!

We prayed, ran around like crazies, had snack and ran around some more. So fun. You'll be excited to know the classics were busted out: Red Light,
Green Light; Freeze Tag; Tie a Balloon Around Your Ankle Pop Everyone Else's Before Yours Gets Popped; and of course it all ended with some BUBBLES!

After field day a group of us young adults hit up Wawa for lunch and enjoyed the amazing weather with a picnic in the park. The perfect end to a perfect morning. (I would share pictures of picnic time, IF I had a camera cord...yeeeaaah, about that. It's still lost. Field day pictures compliments of Heidi's facebook because she's an awesome photographer.)
