ON THE ROAD, AGAIN.

There's this boy I met a year-and-a-half ago that I've fallen head-over-heels for. I wish I could say you all know him, some of you do, but many of you do not yet. The downside of moving all over the place: friends are so scattered. Don't worry, the day will come! (I already have visions of a summer trip to Austin/Dallas in my head...and you other transplants ::ehem, kelli, ehem:: you're on the list too...might just take a little bit longer.)

I digress.

Back to the point at hand. This boyfriend of mine, Pete, actually took a job opportunity outside the state of Pennsylvania in February, and although we've been talking about it for quite a while, everything has recently been falling into place, so here I go! Packing up the house, the dog, the cat and moving to...

GEORGIA!
(in my best Paula Dean Southern accent)

Can you believe it?? (Don't answer that...)

June 14th is the big day; we'll be out of West Chester and on our way to Hot-lanta.

I'm super excited for the next chapter of life, but so sad to leave PA; this state that I had the hardest time adjusting to. Isn't it ironic? I think the first two-thirds of this blog actually revolves around my dislike of Philadelphia and feeling so temporary. Who would've known I'd now have such close friends and wonderful memories that are making it so sad to leave? If it weren't for my job and co-workers that I liked so much, I would've been on the first plane out of here and missed out on the things that now make leaving this tough.

How lucky I am to have Something that makes saying goodbye so hard.
